Description
"There may be a Rebellion yet..."
- General Rahm Kota

Hello and welcome to my Star Wars: Galactic Civil War SNPCs mod! VJ Base and the SNPC Particle Resource Pack are required for this to work.

Addon features:
-Adds infantry and vehicles from the Galactic Empire, Rebel Alliance, and even Kota's Militia into Garry's Mod as VJ Base operated SNPCs to bring you the ultimate VJ Base mod for Galactic Civil War contnet!

-Features units from both the EU and new-canon timelines for Star Wars, such as the Phase 3 Dark Trooper from the former and the Death Trooper from the latter!

-Each faction has infantry that use unique equipment and abilities. The Rebel Alliance and Kota's Militia have Heavy Troopers that can deal excessive damage to enemies with their rotary blaster cannons. Imperial Troops have access to advance tech that allows special units to cloak, use a jetpack, or place sentry guns!

-You can customize player alignment with both sides using the included settings. Join forces with either the Rebel Alliance or the Galactic Empire, or even be enemies to both!

-Also features heavy inspiration from the Star Wars Battlefront games and the Force Unleashed. Infantry from both games are even recreated in this mod!

-Incorporates a multiple voice system for most infantry to add immersion, so no two soldiers will spawn with the same voice in this mod! Voice lines from SWBF2 2005, TFU, TFU2, and SWBF2 2017 are included!

Faction Information:

Galactic Empire
Galactic Empire troops have access to a unique armor system that allows them to absorb more damage from blaster and gunfire than normal. The Galactic Empire also hosts a variety of special classes that have different equipment and abilities. For example, Imperial Engineers can place down sentry guns when enemies get close. Shadow Troopers can even turn invisible when they have to reload and de-cloak to get the drop on their enemies. Incinerator troops can set foes on fire with their flamethrowers. Dark Troopers can also use jetpacks to ambush enemies from the air.

Rebel Alliance
While their tech is not quite as advanced as the Empires, especially given they don't have armor that rivals Stormtrooper armor, they make up with this by having strong weaponry. Their special units are Wookiee Warriors and Heavy Troopers. Wookie Warriors are armed with powerful bowcasters that deal a good amount of damage with exceptional accuracy. Heavy Troopers are equipped with rotary blaster cannons that deal great damage and can support fellow troops with massive amounts of suppressive fire.

Kota's Militia
In the EU timeline, Kota's Militia was a unique combat unit of battle-hardened soldiers that fought in the service of the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars under the direct command of Jedi Master Rahm Kota. They disappeared into hiding during the Great Jedi Purge, but later re-emerged to take up arms against the Galactic Empire during the Rise of the Empire Era; eventually evolving into the basic soldiers of the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War. As such, most of their equipment in this mod are same as the Rebels. Unlike the Rebels however, Militia Troopers have have armor that can absorb just as much damage as Stormtrooper armor, evening the odds between Imperials and Militia Troopers a bit more.

Notes:
-The Phase 3 Dark Troopers are intended as mini-bosses. They have a high amount of health and can deal a lot of damage with their shoulder-mounted rotary blaster cannons.

-The Shadow Troopers and Incinerator Stormtroopers use custom reskins made by me to match how they appeared in TFU.

-Due to the lack of fitting resources for them, desert and snow Rebels as well as Imperial Snowtroopers are not yet included in this mod. They will be added when appropriate resources for them become available.

-The AT-ST and AT-AT walkers in this mod are not designed to be playable with the VJ Base Controller tool. If enough demand is met for it however, I could add more featues to make them control better. At the moment though, I would highly recommend using vehicle addons for them instead.

Planned updates:
-Add desert and snow Rebels
-Add Imperial Snowtroopers
-Add the Purge Trooper from TFU
-Add the Evo Trooper from TFU
-Add the Stormtrooper Commander from TFU

Your custom NPC pack has actually been featured in two YouTube videos I made now and they are bound to show up in more of my YouTube content, these NPCs are incredible and intelligent and are very capable fighters and I love their voice lines. Brilliant work on this pack dude.

@YunaTama Ah, yes, the SNPC's are serving their purpose.

*There's a setting to turn rebels hostile and imperials friendly, its in the VJ base tab, literally they're like, the only settings for this mod*

@Syruknight
The boxes only change the relationships that the factions have with players, not with each other. If you'd like to make SNPCs from different factions in this mod allied with each other, you can use the VJ Base Relationship Tool that comes with VJ Base to do so

@Hanna <3
If you'd like to set them serverside, the convars for all the options in this mod are the following:
vj_glcw_galaticempire_friendly 0
vj_glcw_rebels_hostile 0
vj_glcw_disabledeathanims 0
Apologies for the late response.

@lamarr232
I privated my old Galactic Empire SNPCs mod because it no longer works now that the VJ Base revamp is out. This mod contains updated versions of all SNPCs from that mod, so I didn't see any point in leaving a broken version of them up on the workshop.

@YunaTama
There has in fact been options to change player alignment with all factions since this mod first came out. Simply click on the DrVrej tab in the spawn menu and then under Plugin settings, click on the settings for this mod. From there, there are boxes to tick that changes player relationships with all factions.

@MouseQuest
Lmao, if you could heart Steam comments, I would certainly heart yours mate XD
