Description
"The Emperor Protects!"

8th Cadian Regiment, Imperial Guard armor from Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 ported to WOTC.

FAQs:
- Male and Female, all classes
- Commissar is male only
- Major is female only
- Backpacks in Upper Face Props
- Commissar's eyepiece in Lower Face Props
- No tinting
- Not tested on Vanilla, no idea if it works
- No, I dont know how to port weapons

Optional Items:
- All Armour Avenger - to force soldiers to wear armor on the ship, otherwise leg armor still appears and clips through their default clothing
- Project Dollhouse - to independently tint each slot, color picker, scale up soldiers
- One Million Colours - color picker
- Customise Soldier Size/Resizable Armor - to scale up soldiers/parts

Known Issues/Other:
- Some items dont line up because they are taken from the other gender's model
- Commissar epaulettes missing the tassels, messing with the mesh was too much work
- Commissar's bionic forearm animation can be weird
- Ankles/shoulder animations can be a little weird
- Cloth doesnt have real physics
- Female model had a lot fewer helmet and torso deco options
- Tried something different with the textures/materials, hopefully looks better overall
- The Commissar's bionic arm looks better than the Space Marines'?!

@lil carmine Added male arms with rolled up sleeves, enjoy!
As for a torso without skirt, is that in SM2? I remember looking for that in gameplay footage and not really seeing it. The tabletop Cadian models also all seem to have it too. There was also a minor problem with the leg models if I removed it so I left it in.

@Roknar Thanks for the suggestion to try the default XCOM arm, it worked like a charm! And the best part was I didnt have to mess with posing or vertex groups lol

provided you are able to re-use the base game arm, you can just use the skin material iirc.
Should be doable to replace the existing arm, I reckon you might even get away with just applying the skin material.

@jonexhd Yeah Saber's default pose has the legs wider apart than Firaxis' so it looks a little off

@lil carmine I specifically avoided the rolled up sleeves because I dont know how to make the mod account for different skin tones, I hoped no one would notice lol

Is it just me or the legs really looks awkward? The running stance is bizarre

@colonel Joel the weapon mods are old and of low quality and look very out of place when used with these models
