Operation Higanbana

Description
With conflict breaking out in Europe, the Russians have launched a bold offensive to establish firm military security over all the Kuril Islands and their far east. Repeated commando and air raids have targeted JSDF and American assets in Hokkaido to reduce their threat. However, intelligence has managed to intercept transmissions indicating a planned marine landing in Hokkaido to support these operations. This could also be the foundation for a full invasion of the island. We shall use this to our advantage. With our American Allies, we have established defenses and prepared several squadrons of vessels to intercept. It is time to sweep these invaders back to the mainland.

Huh, never had the E-3 get stuck for me. I'll test it again and make it airborne at start if need be

The airbase has issues when trying to launch an E-3. It gets stuck on the runway and nothing can launch. Of course, this is a game fault and not yours.

Who's missiles? Air launched or Ship? That'll help me tweek positioning and such

If you ever get around to making any changes maybe let the missiles start flying a few minutes later? It comes on pretty sudden before the player can move ships where they want them and get planes up.

I enjoyed it though. Lots to do.

Hmm, Third Battle of Tsushima, there's ideas there. Couple ASW frigates and DDs on each side end up in a shooting battle. Anything bigger will need USN assets as the current roster of JMSDF ships ain't cut out for ship-to-ship.
If theres ever gonna be ww2 mods i would love to see a mission based upon the anime Zipang.
