[Important Note: Mission 6 (Chaos Reigns) involves a lot of spawning enemies. While it runs well on my mid-spec laptops, those with gore mods or low end devices should take caution.]

Welcome to Sahradia. Just West of Nowheraki, Sahradia is a nation with a long and complicated history tracing back to the days of the early empires. Its glory days seem long behind, but that doesn’t mean its people are any less important. A violent religious extremist and dictator, Iraj Khosa, was recently overthrown, and the Sahradian people have finally had their first democratic election since the right had been abolished. But it’s clear tensions are high. Recently elected president Ziyaad Bangial won by a hair, calling for radical political and religious reforms to break the system that allowed the dictatorship to rise. But the former dictator had gathered quite a personality cult, and now the nation is on the brink of another national conflict.

Bangial has looked to the west to help maintain peace after a string of violent attacks rang out against major political institutions in the nation. The state militia is in disarray, struggling to recover from the insurrection against the former leader. Meanwhile, many disillusioned supporters are turning to extremist groups to show their distaste for the new government, the most alarming of which is the Sahradian Islamic Revolutionist Movement (SIRM), led by none other than the son of the former dictator, Bairam Khosa. Task Force North is assigned to Operation Live Wire to help counter-terrorism efforts in the region and help the nation of Sahradia maintain its newfound democracy.
