Kyoko was never one to fall into line. A moody wallflower her whole life, she was a constant problem child in school, eschewing academics to smoke outside in get into fights with other scrappy delinquents. And she was -damn- good at it- It wasn't long before she built up a record and reputation for being one of the toughest brawlers in her city.

But she wanted more. While winning as much as she had was impressive, all she ever fought were punks and burnouts- Very seldom anyone of actual merit. She wanted to cut her teeth on some real fights- Figuratively and literally.

And during yet another scrap in a subway, she got her wish- A talent scout for WF happened to depart a train at the exact moment she kicked a dude's teeth in. On the spot, they offered her a chance to sign up- And with a shrug, she agreed. Not like she had anything better to do.
