Exercise Neptune's Revenge

Description
JMSDF forces are conducting an exercise to test the effectivness of their new class of submarine, SS Yushio. As part of the test, JMSDF Surface Forces, aided by a P-2H Neptune, will proceed north to locate and "sink" an Arashio class SSK and the new prototype of the Yushio submarine class. USSR forces are in the area observing, but JMSDF intends to remain de-escalatory.

-Single Mission inspired by the new JMSDF units
-Foul weather ASW (and some good 'ole fashion gunfire)
-Random spawn for submarines for replayability

I personally am not able to play this mission, it loads empty. tried unsubbing/resubbing. Playing on stable beta.

I didn't get the last message then, all my forces died then the game just sat there. Maybe something glitched on my end. Def agree about the hard mission end.

@sideofchickeN, personal preference, I don't like the hard cut mission exit trigger, that's why the last message pop up has "exit mission" as the bottom button; good idea with the subs, could have repositioned new ones as friendlies instead of just disappearing. Since the JMSDF units don't have offense missiles it kind of has to be guns with the goal of the mission being to use the new ships, but thanks for the feedback and thanks for playing!

No defeat trigger, and just seems like a pure RNG fight at the end. Why don't we get access to the submarines we "sank" following USSR engagement? Could be a teleport trigger that does something like that. Anyways, ASW was fun but the surface engagement at the end is kind of cheese

Simple and nothing too complex. But that's all you need, really. Nice scenario, good for ASW practice.

Very fun quick mission. It's cool to see that the AI can use SA-series missiles in the secondary surface attack mode given the correct circumstances.

Awesome fun mission! I love the weather you went with, really allows for closer ASW engagements and having opportunities to use that ASROC! Great stuff as always!
