Sol-class patrol craft

The Sol-class (meaning Star in Latin) is a Roman light patrol craft designed to sweep systems and check on civilian traffic. Armed with two forwards facing laser cannons, the ship is not the most heavily armoured patrol craft but certainly capable of defending itself, especially in large numbers. Cheap to build but sufficiently well armoured, the class is a good all-round patroller of a system.
