About the Mod
Tired of seeing the same cut scenes in HL2 campaign when you just wanna get in the fight and try your new weapon mods? Ever wanted to skip the cut scenes? well.. Now you still can't . Luckily this mod can forward time to shorten the time of cutscenes if not entirely skip it.

Inspired by the game In Stars and Time, by insertdisc5, implemented a Hold-down-a-button key to move forward in time with effects similar to ISaT.

Features
- Bind a certain key (Left Alt by default), when held down it will forward time
- Forwarding time can be disrupted when damaging or getting damaged
- Fast forwarding, for developing and testing purposes (helps me tests npcs faster :3)
- Sounds and Effects in forwarding time and when getting disrupted
- Siffrin Nodding (can be disabled)
- Configurations located at Spawnmenu -> Options -> WeTools -> Zoneout Options

Possible FAQ
Where can I bind the forward time key?
- in Spawnmenu (F1 for toggle open) -> Options -> WeTools -> Zoneout Options

How do I keep my spawnmenu open without holding a key
- you can type "gm_showhelp" in the console (or bind THAT to a key to toggle spawnmenu)

Why subscribe to this when you can just host_timescale in console
- No need to input "sv_cheats 1", so its a quick way to fast forward time
- A convenient button to just hold to fast forward feels more convenient than typing in the console
- and.. PRESENTATION

Cool 'hold to use' feature. would be more convenient for folks who don't have the same level of experience with the bind command, the "exec" script system and the "toggle" command that came later on, all of which I got used to.

It's extremely useful to make macros and shortcuts to commands that you frequently use. It also was a clue that the Source engine is loosely based on the Quake engine.

Later versions of GZDoom also has i_timescale. HL1/Goldsrc also has a similar speed command... but you need to enter it differently.

in HL1, you'll need to change host_framerate FAR below 1, like 0.005 (or 0.003), etc. otherwise it goes way too fast, even if you wanna speed something up. change it back to 0 when you want it to run normally. Definitely a cool feature not so well known.

I just tested it... host_framerate is also in Quake and operates the exact same way!

I'd say that's a great reason other than presentation. Especially for servers.

You don't have to :laughing_yeti:. Just the thought of giving the award is good enough for me. :SaffronHappy:

the audio from the video sounds like somebody put their microphone onto a wall 30 feet away and then played on the highest volume
