Portare-class freighter

The Portare-class (meaning To Carry in Latin) is a Roman medium-sized freight ship dedicated to carrying the most cargo it can across multiple systems. With three medium hyperdrives, it can quickly make its way across multiple systems without needing to stop for more hyperium and the plethora of storage bays make it very efficient at carrying large loads between stations and outposts. Three huge thrusters give it excellent speed for its size while point defence turrets keep it somewhat safe along with the armour.

The Portare-class serves any fleet well as a long distance routine freighter. Its size allows it to carry many different goods of varying types from one station to another efficiently. The hyperdrives allow it to quickly jump both across systems and into neighbouring ones, while the point defence systems and armour allow it to survive encounters until it can jump away to safety.
