Shield of Maple Leaf

The Canadian Armed Forces (CF/FC) are commanded by the Defense Headquarters located in the capital city of Ottawa. Canadian military personnel receive regular training and are responsible for defending Canadian sovereignty, serving within Canadian territory or for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, as well as multinational/United Nations peacekeeping operations around the world.
