Geese cannot be trusted.

  • Geese can periodically enter various mental states.
  • They may start stealing items from your storage and taking them anywhere they see fit.
  • They may lock on to one unfortunate child and terrorize them for an unspecified time.
  • If no geese are present on the map then the storyteller may send you some just to ruin your day.
  • Colonists can be ordered to stop the geese from continuing their shenanigans. It is not guaranteed the colonist will succeed each time though.




Q1. Safe to add mid-save?
A1. Yes... like almost every other mod out there. Safe to remove mid-save? Probably not... like almost every other mod out there.

Q2. Works with multiplayer?
A2. No clue. I don't use any multiplayer mods and I never make mods with compatibility for them in mind.

Q3. Any chance I'll add the same behavior to other animals?
A3. No. This mod was based on the game "Untitled Goose Game", hence the specific use of geese here. If you want this sort of behavior to work for other mods then have fun Harmony patching the crap out of this mod or head over to the RimWorld Discord server and #mod-development channel to learn how to make mods. ;)

Q4. Does this mod work with CE?
A4. I have no idea. You absolute fanatical diehard CE fans are strange. lol I don't use it, therefor I don't ever test for compat with it. Use with CE at your own risk. Though it should be totally fine. All I did was change how geese behave... I didn't give them wing-mounted .50 cals...

Have been using this mod for a while since day 1 of 1.6 release now and have experienced no noticeable problems so far.

Great mod with no conflicts of vanilla nor other mods (no, I don't touch CE).

The concept of mischievous animals marching in blends so well with the goofiness of Rimworld, I consider this mod as Vanilla friendly.

Playing 1.6 with only QoL mods. This one 100% counts as QoL because it makes me laugh every time those klepto geese appear. Nicely done Scurvyez.

@SiaNKs The description is perfectly clear. Out of the 9 pages of comments here you are the only person who is confused. If English is not your first language then I'm sorry but the wording if perfectly clear. This mod DOES NOT add geese to the game. It CHANGES how they behave.
