TRN - Aegis Defense Platform (autonomous)

The Aegis Defense Platform is a compact artillery station designed for frontline defense and high-threat zone suppression. Armed with four heavy artillery batteries and a limited array of point-defense systems, it delivers overwhelming saturation fire against larger vessels, disabling key systems before they can retaliate.

This autonomous variant of the Aegis platform replaces the minimal crew infrastructure of earlier models with a fully integrated AI command suite, enabling independent operation without onboard personnel. Advanced sensors and targeting systems allow it to engage threats with precision and efficiency, maintaining constant vigilance even in isolated deployments.

While capable of autonomous function, this version is typically integrated into a wider command network, operating under the coordination of a crewed Aegis variant serving as a command hub. This hierarchy allows for strategic oversight and coordinated fire missions across multiple platforms, maximizing the system’s effectiveness.
