Jaculum-class freighter

The Jaculum-class (meaning Dart in Latin) is a high speed freighter ship specialising in speed above all. Featuring a single, massive, powerful modular thruster at the rear, the ship can quickly reach top speed to zip across the system. The modular thruster gives incredible power and what it lacks in carry capacity it makes up for in speed. The upper body is dedicated to cargo, while the middle holds all the crew and ship components. Unarmed and mostly unarmoured, the ship relies on its incredible speed to escape pursuers. Two sets of moving walkways allow the crew to quickly and efficiently keep the engine modules supplied with ample power.

The Jaculum-class is excellent for getting goods around in a hurry. While not the highest capacity, what it does have is enough to ship around large shipments of goods and the speed allows it to escape any engagement. Hyperdrives also allow it to cross systems and deliver goods to neighbouring star systems.
