Description
🗺️ Territory Expansion Mod (领土扩展模组)
New Feature for Version 1.2.1
  1. Fixed game values for tax and influence changes, and added toggles in the mod options.

  2. Optimized material initialization with caching to prevent resource overflow.

  3. Fixed rendering error caused by 0 owned tiles.

  4. Added a mod option for customizing territory colors.

  5. Implemented a tax system based on owned territories, settled daily.

  6. Influence now changes with total wealth (every 20,000 wealth), calculated daily.
New Feature for Version 1.1.1
  1. Removed the feature that reduced influence and triggered a jump to the world map.

  2. Tiles can now be properly clicked in territory map mode.

  3. Added compatibility with Vanilla Factions Expanded - Medieval 2
New Feature for Version 1.1
  1. Added Mod Options with a debug tool to help identify issues.

  2. Customizable influence propagation parameters are now available in Mod Options.

  3. If the mod is added mid-game, you can click "Reinitialize Territories" in Mod Options to initialize territories.

Conflict and Bug List for Version 1.0
  1. Conflict with RocketMan load order (resolved)

  2. Conflict with ReGrowth: Core load order (resolved)

  3. Conflict with Save Our Ship 2 (pending resolution)

  4. Mod cannot be added mid-game (resolved)

  5. RimWar settlements with asterisks are not assigned territory (pending resolution)

  6. Clicking on water regions for painting causes rendering to fail (pending resolution)


Current Features
  • 🌍Dynamic Territory Visualization
    "Automatically colors map tiles based on **map mode framework**, clearly showing the territorial boundaries of each faction."

  • 🏘️ Real-Time Updates
    "Territory regions are **updated dynamically** when settlements are added or removed."

  • Note: Currently, no extra gameplay mechanics are implemented — only territory coloring is functional at this stage.

I know this would move the mod backwards but with updating to 1.6 would it be beneficial to remove some of the tax features etc. So this is more of a territorial view/ control with the influence mod than the other features then could add the additional features as a separate mod afterwards?

I got a working version of the Map Mode Framework working on 1.6 unstable, I sent a message on the mod comment section there, the code is a mess but it might help.

Hello! I really enjoy your mod, Mora’s Territory — great work!

I have a small suggestion: currently, taxes often drop on top of my colony buildings and destroy the roof. Would it be possible to allow taxes to drop on a designated spot, like a Drop Spot or Trading Spot? Or even add an option to select where taxes are delivered?

This would prevent unwanted roof collapse and give players more control. Thank you so much for your hard work and for considering this!
