三号坦克E型（Panzerkampfwagen III Ausf E）是德国在二战初期推出的首款量产型三号坦克，于1938年服役。其最大特点是首次采用保时捷设计的扭杆悬挂系统，解决了早期型号的行走稳定性问题，并为后续型号奠定了技术基础。
该坦克装甲厚度为12-30毫米，配备37毫米KwK 35/36主炮和3挺MG34机枪，乘员5人，战斗全重19.5吨。动力系统采用300马力的迈巴赫HL120TR发动机与10速变速箱，其设计成为二战初期坦克乘员布局的典范



Panzerkampfwagen III Ausf E was the first mass-produced Panzerkampfwagen III Ausf E tank launched by Germany in the early stages of World War II and entered service in 1938. Its biggest feature is the adoption of Porsche designed torsion bar suspension system for the first time, which solved the walking stability problem of early models and laid the technical foundation for subsequent models.
The tank's armor thickness is 12-30 millimeters, equipped with a 37mm KwK 35/36 main gun and 3 MG34 machine guns, with a crew of 5 and a total combat weight of 19.5 tons. The power system adopts a 300 horsepower Maybach HL120TR engine and a 10 speed gearbox, which became a model for tank crew layout in the early stages of World War II
