Balanced Start

Descripción
Tired of starting a new game only to discover your guaranteed habitable planets are miles away?
Or worse — that there are no minerals or energy sources near your homeworld?
This mod solves exactly that problem!

### ⚙️ Purpose
The goal of this mod is to ensure a fair and consistent early game start, making it ideal for multiplayer.
It guarantees balanced resources and colonization options, while preserving origin-specific uniqueness where applicable.

🟡 IMPORTANT: When creating an empire, make sure to select **Balanced Start** in the “Name & Class” tab.

### ✅ What this mod does:
- Moves both guaranteed habitable planets to exactly **1 jump** away from your homeworld.
- Adjusts **homeworld size** to a minimum of **22**, maximum of **25**.
- Adjusts **first guaranteed colony** to size **19–22**.
- Adjusts **second guaranteed colony** to size **18–20**.
- Connects **2 additional economic systems**, each containing:
- **+5 Energy**
- **+8 Minerals**
- Resource layout is ideal for building future **Arc Furnaces** and **Dyson Swarms**.

### ❌ Origins currently not supported:
These origins have special scripted starts and are **not modified** by this mod (yet):
- Arc Welders (currently overpowered — intentionally excluded)
- Necrophage (planned future update)
- Riftworld (planned future update)
- Broken Shackles (planned future update)
- Fear of the Dark (planned future update)

### ⚠️ Supported but visually imperfect:
- Common Ground (AI empire starts not adjusted)
- Hegemon (AI empire starts not adjusted)

Thank you,
