The Supply Utility Ship class Ice Eagle is designed to provide combat ships with hydrogen and energy. It is capable of accumulating up to 140 MW of energy and 40 ml of hydrogen. Extraction is carried out using 2 retractable drills that allow mining ice from the surface of shallow ice lakes. The vertical thrust of 1755 t/1g of atmospheric and hydrogen thrusters allows the ship to be used to print other ships from blueprintss in gravity conditions. Very useful in conditions of uranium deficiency. Delivery radius of 2000 km.

To mine ice from the surface, align the ship with gravity and press #6 to intercept the gyro controls. Descend to a height of 12 m above the surface and press #5 to extend the drills. Slowly lower until the magnetic plates lock. Repeat this until all cargo containers are completely filled with ice, moving the ship forward 5 m in the air. To save hydrogen during mining, you can only use atmospheric thrusters.

This method of vertical immersion of drills is similar to the hopping of a grasshopper. You can also use the ship to mine boulders with ore or open deposits on asteroids. Install an ore detector if you want to use the ship for exploration.

You can use the ship to print other ships using a stationary welding wall in gravity conditions. Use the Projector Print to load the desired blueprint. To successfully complete the process, the total mass of the Ice Eagle and the new ship must not exceed the vertical thrust limit. To calculate it, recompile the script loaded into the PB Cruize programm block after landing on the planet. The first value in the Up/Down line will show the maximum thrust on the large Control Seat screen. Use the gyroscope control interception to ensure that the ship does not deviate from the horizontal trajectory when pulling the blueprint out of the wall.

You can control the ship remotely from another ship. To do this, the Ice Eagle has an Action Relay installed, which, upon receiving a signal on Channel 1, increases the antenna broadcast radius to 50 km, after which you can access it through the remote control unit. In this way, you can extract ice from the planet's surface while in low orbit, and then call the ship to you by setting the coordinates through the autopilot. To save hydrogen, use takeoff from the surface using the Grand Cruise script (button #4 on the digital panel of the Remote Control block). Do not forget to return the antenna broadcast radius to 100 m after completing the flight to ensure the ship is invisible to enemy drones.

Note: Together with the EES Pioneer, it forms a fully-fledged mobile base capable of mining, processing and storing all types of ore and ice, producing components and moving 4,000 km at a time.
