The Battle of FSB Houston [SP]

Description
- Base defense scenario inspired by the 1970 Battle of Fire Support Base Ripcord.

- Play as a member of the 101st Airborne and defend the base from NVA attacks.

July 3rd, 1970
The NVA have launched numerous attacks on Fire Support Base Houston over the last couple of days. Each repelled, but at a heavy cost to both sides. With the dead and wounded flown out, and more supplies recently flown in, US soldiers prepare for another attack as the sun begins to set.
Defend the base against attacks from all sides. A Cobra helicopter is on its way to provide some more firepower. Weapons and ammo are located in the storage hut where the American and 101st AB Division flags are displayed.

dope fsb defense mission, loved the scale, 10/10

Feedback:
-There was a pause of 15 mins between the end of the assault and the mission end. Maybe some sort of countdown would help the player know that they are on track and the mission is working as intended.

Thanks HeadUp. I changed the paths for some of the NVA so hopefully they wont get stuck as much.
Hopefully you make some more SOG missions in the future, your stuff is great:steamthumbsup:

Fun mission showcasing what makes SOG PF so awesome. The action gets intense, and you do get the sense of being heavily outnumbered watching the hills move and all the tracers flying. I enjoyed lobbing HE with the bloop gun and practicing with ranging and semi indirect fire. Wasn't game-breaking, nor something you can fix as it's more an engine quirk, but: I did encounter a minor issue preventing the mission from ending when an enemy unit was stuck on a fallen tree - this meant when most of the enemy had been killed there was 10-15 minutes of relative quiet with intermittent fire from the XM-21 sniper in the tower, eventually I patrolled outside the wire doing a little "BDA" and stumbled across the stuck unit when the sniper in that tower finally hit his mark just as I ID'ed him as a foe... the task completed shortly after, ending the mission.

Try having Jamie Basics. I am not an Author, but it may solve that issue.

Ok. I unload the S&S New Wave mod but then I but then I still get an error message:
"you cannot play this mission as it is based on downloaded content that has been deleted. CBA_Jam_VN"

Those 81 and 88 cores are from S&S New Wave, which is not needed for this mission. I don't know why you got those errors
