US Style Automated Crossing Demonstration

Description
Like the UK version, this map showcases a proof of concept for automated railroad crossings.

Key Features:

- Designed for two tracks—automation is currently optimised for this setup.

- On map load, barriers lower automatically, and bells ring after a brief delay.

- Once the bell rings, click the reset switch to raise the barriers, then wait 5 seconds before starting the trains.

Behaviour & Animation Considerations:

- Due to the small track layout, train frequency may cause bells and flashing lights to remain active for extended periods.

- If the lights are flashing but the barriers are still raised, this indicates the animation is cycling—the barriers will lower before the next train arrives.

- On larger maps, outer sensors can be positioned further away from the crossing for more realistic timing.

Included Props & Activation Details:

- Two types of light/bell props,
both featuring switches located just underneath the table.

- One version includes bells, while the other does not.

Damn! I was already writing a 100 page guide how to do it. ;)

No it was meant as a joke lol since they don't have anything to automate. Sorry for any confusion!

@RuffhouseRobotics Do you mean automated control of AI road traffic at a crossbuck only Railroad Crossing?

I Can't Find It

It's a very complicated crossing. I just cannot get it to work! Just search up crossbuck only crossing and you'll see what I'm having trouble with.

No the one without the lights, bell, or barrier.

Forgive my limited knowledge of US crossings, but do you mean one without a barrier and just the lights and bell?
RuffhouseRobotics 19 May @ 12:59pm
Can you make a fully automatic crossbuck only crossing?
