Dead Resort (Survival/Scavenge)

Description
Somewhere in the philippines, Four survivors in their truck navigates through the desolate provinces of the phillipines. Who knows how they ended there.
Due to fuel running out, They stopped at a near resort in hopes for finding gas and supplies

This is mainly a scavenge map made for friends but also includes survival for more wider playabilty


Finally my second map
This was made as a building exercise to get more experienced at hammer
And learning more about nodrawtextures, lightning and fog and amazed how it turned out



To play scavenge maps in single player
-I recommend to get left 4 bots 2
-Open up L4D2 Files
-Go through\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\cfg
-Find addonconfig.cfg
-Unrestrict scavenge
-Now ingame type in console "map MAPNAME scavenge"
-The map name is deadresort

Anyways, the map is solid but needs fixes on the namvesh. It makes only one strategy viable, which is the cottage areas beyond the catwalk.

navmesh needs fixing the bots won't go down the little steps on the island to get ammo and go around thru the water, the elevated house has weird navmesh, one of the bots stuck behind a stove in the third room and the balcony at the end so yeah that needs some manual tweaking.
