Specials Leveling System

Just like Survivors Leveling System but this one for specials.

With some EXP trackers, specials could level up and get stronger.

The EXP trackers are events such as hurting survivors, grabbing survivors with abilities, incapping or killing survivors etc.

Unfortunately, the levels resets each chapter, i tried to make the levels or EXP move on with chapters but it didn't work (If you're a modder and you can help, any tip will help)


How Does It Work:
  • A smoker grabs/kills/incaps a survivor
  • Earns EXP
  • Levels up and gets buffed


How To Earn EXP:
  • Kill a survivor to earn 60 EXP
  • Incap a survivor to earn 30 EXP
  • Damage a survivor to earn 5 EXP for each hit
  • Smoker grab to earn 25 EXP
  • Hunter pounce to earn 25 EXP
  • Jockey ride to earn 25 EXP
  • Charger caary to earn 25 EXP
  • Boomer bile to earn 25 EXP
  • Spitter spit to earn 15 EXP (death counts as ability usage)
  • Die to earn 10 EXP
  • Use Ability to earn 10 EXP


Notes:
  • The mod is tested but i'm not sure if there is no bugs, if you found any annoying bug, report it in the comments!
  • The mod will conflict/overwrite any other mod that uses/edits the ConVars of the specials such as speed etc.
  • Every player will be warned with a visual&sound hint as well as a chat message with the buffs info etc.
  • The levels of the specials will be reseted each chapter.


WARNING:
  • Works on singleplayer and hosted local servers only!

  • There is small buffs between levels i didn't mention cuz it will be a long unnecessary description.
  • EXP required is 30 for each level, the first level requires only 20 EXP.

@toolazy The hunter, when pushed by a survivor, can still perform its claw attack and inflict damage for a brief moment; this bug exists in the base game, I don't think it's due to the mod, maybe that's why it was able to gain experience and level up, it has managed to inflict damage on the survivor

you sure the hunter or smoker wasn't damaging someone or died? cuz they can earn EXP from such things as dying or damaging others

lightymoon i found the buuug

its simple its still gets buff even tho i shoot the hunter first and worst it level even if you shove it

that may be the bug
