Missable trophies: 3 - Elite ZAFT Pilot, Elite Union Pilot, Lacus-sama Banzai!

Gundam Seed Battle Destiny remastered is a remaster of the Vita original, and is largely quite similar. The achievements are quite straight forward, with only a few being less obvious.

This guide is also based on the Vita version, and may change.

Character Creation
Upon starting a new game, you will be prompted to create a new character. Among these choices are Type, either Natural or Coordinator and Faction. Naturals get two skills slots while Coordinators have the permanent Coordinator skill. The extra skill slot is not necessary but may prove to be a greater boon than the Coordinator skill.

Faction will prove to be important for many trophies. Only two factions are available to choose from the beginning. Following the creation of your character, you will be prompted to create a second character. The second character will act as a co-pilot and is only available on the same save file as the first character.

There will be a choice in the middle of both CE71 and CE73 that will allow you to change your faction to Archangel.

Upon completing the final mission of CE73, you will unlock the opposing route's starting missions, allowing one character to unlock all missions and MS.

Story Progression
Completing missions will unlock further missions, as well as an "EX" version of that mission in Free Mission. These EX missions are not necessary. All Story missions must be completed with a rank of D or above, with E denoting a failed mission. Enemy Aces and Targets are pointed out with a cutscene. Enemy Aces are not specifically targets, though may be necessary to complete the stage, while defeating anything denoted as a Target will complete the stage, or potentially cause Aces to escape. Similarly, Allies and Defense Targets are pointed out by the same method.

It is necessary to get 25 S-Ranks or more, and 30 A-Ranks or more, but this is a highly generous target. Occaisionally, A-Ranks and S-Ranks will unlock additional MS and pilots. The prestigious SS-Rank score for a mission is not necessary.

Another Missions are primarily unlocked Story Missions or other Another Missions, and are found in the 7th tab of the Story Mode. While most Another Missions are available to all characters, some are restricted. All Another Missions must be completed. Further details will be listed under Super Ace Pilot.

The defection to the Archangel faction occurs for both factions during CE 71's Phase 9 and CE 73's Phase 7. If the Archangel option is taken, the Archangel missions will be unlocked, and though you can replay missions of your previous faction, no new missions will appear. A small number of other missions also have similar choices, but they will not have any lasting effect.

Upon completing CE73's final mission, you can unlock missions from other factions without restriction.

Hyper Boss Missions
Hyper Boss Missions are unlocked by completing Story and Another Missions and are available in the 8th tab of Free Mission mode and are the first of two parts of Free Mission Mode that need to be completed and the only part of Extra Mission. Unlike Story Missions, a player can choose any Pilot or Mobile Suit that they have unlocked across any save file and use themselves plus 3 A.I characters, though the only custom characters that can be used are limited to that specific save file. Hyper Boss missions are a fight against one to four enemy characters with extremely high stats.

Versus
The second part of Free Mission, VS Mission, must be won 10 times. It is not necessary to play this online. For the easiest time choose the third option which is Points Battle, change the second option to 1000, go to the next screen, then change the participants so that the first three belong to Team A and are using highly upgraded Mobile Suits. Have the fourth participant use a high-cost Mobile Suit and reduce it's stats to the minimum, leaving it with 200 HP and 1 Defense. Upon starting the battle, the fourth participant will be defeated by yourself or one of your A.I partners, quickly ending the battle in your favor. Choose retry to quickly restart the battle and gain your 10 wins.
Achievements
Battle Ace/3000 Kills/etc
Get 5000 Kills
Self-explanatory. They do not include ally kills.

Completing all other achievements will likely leave you in the low 4000 kills. Completing the next 1000 can be done quickest by completing Desert Hunter or Space Hunter, which have many weak enemies, with a strong, long-range, fast firing MS. Desert Hunter is smaller, but much more hilly, potentially blocking shots. Space Hunter is larger and has 3D movement, which makes weapons less accurate. The two missions are at the bottom of the Another Mission list.

The Strike Freedom Gundam is one of the best options at full tuning, as it's weapons have long range and high precision. Feel free to remove your ally, but enemy reinforcements are constant.

MS Collector/Pilot Collector
Collect 80 MS
Collect 28 Pilots

You get new MS and Pilots from completing stages and getting high ranks. The absolute minimum number of MS earned from getting low ranks is 55 (without Another missions), so it is necessary to get higher ranks to achieve 80, though far fewer than the game's 114 MS and MAs.

Ability Collector
Collect 40 abilities.
Abilities are unlocked by completing various story missions.

Legendary Pilot/Veteran Pilot
Complete 25 story missions at S Rank or higher.
Complete 30 story missions at A Rank or higher.

Ranks are achieved through low damage taken, a short clear time, and defeating notable enemies.

25 and 30 are relatively low targets, with the game having 80+ story missions, as well as Another Missions that count. Better MS earned from later stages, as well as pilots with higher stats, will make these targets much easier.

See MS Collector for a list of S-Ranks worth attempting.

The Ultimate Pilot
Battle Destiny Fanatic
SEED Complete
Destiny Complete
Elite Allied Pilot
Elite ZAFT Pilot
Long Live Miss Lacus!
Complete all story missions.
Complete all final missions for each faction.

Each faction has a CE71 (SEED) and a CE73 (SEED Destiny) story route. The Archangel Faction can only be played by playing as Alliance or ZAFT until the midpoint of each era, and then choosing to join Archangel. Similarly, Alliance and ZAFT's endings can only be gotten by not joining Archangel.

In the Remaster, these largely work the same. You will be required to complete your chosen factions to the end of CE73, and then you will unlock the opposing faction, ZAFT or Earth Alliance. To either unlock Archangel, or the ending of a non-Archangel faction, you will need to replay the mission that gave you a choice after completing CE73. This is CE 71 Phase 9 and CE 73 Phase 7, for both factions.

Outside of those two choices, if you complete all missions in the first 6 tabs of Story Mode, with at least a D-Rank, you will earn these Achievements.

Some people have managed to complete some stages with an E-Rank, which will count for the Achievement, but not for unlocking bonuses like Unlock Tuning Limit. Get a D-Rank or better for safety.

Super Ace Pilot
Complete CE 73, get all endings for all Factions, complete all Another Missions and Battle Destiny
After getting Ultimate Pilot, complete all Another Missions. Most unlock from completing various story missions with any rank. The second last and third last missions cannot be failed, and award you with a minimum score of D. After completing all previous Another Missions, the final Another Mission, Battle Destiny, is unlocked. Complete it for the trophy.

Notable Requirements:
Clear Another Mission "Guardians of ZAFT" with Meer Campbell surviving to unlock "The PLANT Songstress"

Battle Maniac
10 Vs Missions won
Much faster than the Vita versions 100 wins.

In Free Mission Mode's Vs Mission choose the third option, Points Battle, change the second option to 1000, go to the next screen, then change the participants so that the first three belong to Team A and are using highly upgraded Mobile Suits. Have the fourth participant use a high-cost Mobile Suit, and reduce it's stats to the minimum, leaving it with 200 HP and 1 Defense. Upon starting the battle the fourth participant will be defeated by yourself or one of your A.I partners, quickly ending the battle in your favor. Choose retry to quickly restart the battle and gain your 10 wins.
Hyper Boss Battles
Excellent Pilot
Clear all Hyper Boss Battles in Extra Mission

In Extra Mission, the 8th tab will be exclusively for Hyper Boss Battles. They are unlocked through completing Story and Another Missions.

Alert: This Achievement seems to be bugged: It is only required to complete Ultra Ace to receive the achievement, which does not require completing any other Hyper Bosses.

These stages are best completed with a series of heavily upgraded, late game Mobile Suits, like Strike Freedom, as they start with high defence and health. If the Tuning Limit is removed (strongly recommended), the best Mobile Suits to use are those with Machine Guns, like Raider Gundam, due to their rate of fire. Despite lacking as much power as the Beam Rifle of the Strike Freedom, it's much higher rate of fire makes it easier to overwhelm the exceptional evasion of Hyper Bosses as well as inflicting more damage in the same length of time. This is far more important when attempting the final Hyper Boss Battle, since it is not possible to outnumber them like in earlier missions.

Ultra Ace
The hardest Hyper Boss Battle is the final one against the Strike Freedom, Infinite Justice, Destiny and Legend Gundams all at the same time. In a Mobile Suit it is extremely difficult to outlast them due to their high attack power and high health - all but the most skilled players will be overwhelmed once your allies are defeated. The best strategy is to use a heavily upgraded Mobile Armour and use the skills Gale and Iron Man to increase thruster power and defence.

Upgrading weapons is not necessary, but if using a Mobile Armour with an ultra long range attack, this can shorten the fight significantly. Set up your A.I partners with the previously recommended mobile suits, Raider Gundam especially, equipped with the Giant Killer skill and, if they are a Natural, the Hatred skill.

Use your Mobile Armour to evade the fire of the enemy Aces, leaving your partners to fight. While your partners will die, so long as you are not defeated, your partners will regenerate their health, return to battle and steadily cut away at the health of the four Aces. If you have a ultra-long-distance weapon, like Gunbarrels, you can attack the enemy from well outside of their range, though they will be closing the distance, and it will make the MA difficult to control.

Notable Requirements:
All Hyper Boss Battles may automatically unlock in the Remaster.
Blade of Faith and Justice: C.E. 71 Archangel Phase 3 S-Rank
Saviour: C.E. 73 ZAFT Phase 7 S-Rank
Extended: C.E. 73 Earth Alliance Phase 7 S-Rank
Actaeon Project: Another Mission Stargazer S-Rank
Never Ending Feeling of Justice: C.E. 73 Archangel Phase 9 S-Rank
Ultra Ace: Complete all other Hyper Boss missions

@Frymenot - This guide is only worried about MS that requires notable ranks, not listing all 110+ MS.

Akatsuki Shiranui Pack comes from completing Archangel's CE73 final phase, with a D-Rank or better. I think you get it for free, but it's hard to intentionally get lower than D to test it.
