Description
Unshackled Co-op is taking a while to update to v1.3, here's a beta.
While I haven't included anything that COULD majorly break your game/save, I'm not liable if something DOES break, so use at your own risk.

Note: Some of the following text will contain major spoilers for most campaigns, including the Watcher.
Relevant text will be tagged for spoilers upon full release.

Known bugs:
- Reverse cycling in arena slugcat selection skips over the "Random" option.
- I have found a bug relating to karma levels desyncing or not displaying properly in the sleep screen. I am unsure if this was fixed before I found the cause, as modifying karma was the most recent change.
- Artificer's dream sequences are very unstable.
- I have found a freeze relating to scavenger karma, but am unsure what the cause is. Note that it can happen outside Artificer's campaign.
- The above clouds view in Saint's ending cutscene does not render properly if P1 is not Saint.
- Non-Watcher slugcats do not properly recolour their face sprite when camouflaging.
- If Inv is present in the Watcher's campaign, many Watcher related sound effects (camouflage, warp, etc) are distorted.
- Depending on the load order of players, if a camouflagable player stands too close to a camouflaged player, they will also appear invisible.
- Many ripple related effects will only ever appear on one player at a time. This includes the camouflage dissolve effect, ripple trail, ripplespace transition, as well as the ripple death effect that occurs when ripple spawn are nearby.
- Attempting to warp when outside the Watcher's campaign will always result in failure.
- Only players playing as the Watcher are visible when a room is affected by ripplespace.

Currently untested:
- If the mod can load without the Watcher DLC installed/enabled. I strongly doubt it will, and if that's the case, it will be fixed for the full release.
- Cross-mod interactions.
- Several interactions with Saint's attunement in the Watcher's campaign.
- Several possible interactions and edge cases with ripplespace.
- Several possible interactions with the Prince.

Planned changes:
- To allow increased flexibility with the workaround settings, some may now require a restart to take effect. I am investigating a possible way to work around this. Trust me, I also hate it.
- Many unique interactions with Saint's attunement.
- Better colour interactions with non-Watcher slugcats and the ripple trail effect.
- The ripple death effect will remain visible, but many outer distortion effects will be removed for the sake of multiplayer.
- If the Jolly Co-op difficulty is set to easy, dead players who are also absent when warping will not be transported.
- When warping, players will be spawned in at intervals instead of on the same frame (to avoid excessive repulsion force between players).
- The Watcher will have the ability to warp when outside their campaign. The destination is limited to where you can access (as well as by progression, e.g. can't warp to Metropolis before meeting Five Pebbles), and "bad warps" will always fail. The created warp points will always be single-use, and one-way.

Changelog:
- Now compatible with v1.10.4 and the Watcher.
- Reworked remix menu.
- Removed Super Nightcat (it was too much work to maintain, but may return in the future). Nightcat is still playable.
- Fixed bug where reverse cycling through slugcat selection would skip the last option.
- Gourmand's body slam now works in expedition mode.
- Gourmand's food quest no longer appears outside their campaign.
- Enabling non-meat eaters to do so in Gourmand's campaign now applies to all players.
- Fixed bug that gave too much food when eating dead creatures in Gourmand's campaign.
- Scavenger karma now prioritises highest karma value instead of leading players if multiple eligible players are holding scavengers.
- Fixed bug where recovering from starvation with increased agility would mistakenly revert stats to normal, instead of matching Rivulet.
- Fixed bug where Rivulet's stats were modified when extended lung capacity or high agility settings were enabled.
- Enabling non-Saint attunement now applies to all players.
- Spearmaster's tongue/attunement graphics now display properly.
- Non-Saint attunement is now usable throughout all of Rubicon, as well as when visiting Looks to the Moon and Five Pebbles.
- Input conflict between Artificer's double jump and Saint's grapple is resolved to match behaviour of Saint with double jump in expedition mode.
- Input conflict between Artificer's double jump and Saint's attunement is resolved. When both are available, Jump+Grab is bound to the former, and Special is bound to the latter.
- Fixed crash/freeze issues in Rubicon.
- All slugcats are now able to carry over objects through Saint's ending (rollover object).
- Fixed graphical issues (except above clouds view) in Saint's ending cutscene.
- Fixed rain timer display issue relating to Saint.
- Fixed shelter end of day issue relating to Saint.
- Inv's eggzero is now global for all singularity bombs regardless of source if Inv is present (toggleable).
- Input conflict between Artificer's double jump, Saint's attunement, and the Watcher's camouflage is resolved. The last of the three takes priority of the Special bind.
- The Watcher's abilities can be unlocked by meeting echoes outside their campaign.
- Saint's attunement can be used in the Watcher's campaign upon reaching the highest maximum ripple level.
- Added option to allow all slugcats to use the Watcher's abilities within their campaign.
- When multiple players are able to camouflage, the camouflage charge is shared, and has a slight boost to regeneration to compensate.
- Warp attempts will only succeed if all players are present in the same room (follows jolly co-op difficulty rules).
- Entering/exiting ripplespace is global for all players.
- Major code refactoring for simplicity and bug fixing. Some settings now require a restart as a result.
- Removed checks for expedition mode. This will improve compatibility, but as a reminder, Unshackled Co-op was not developed with expedition in mind! I still recommend disabling it when using this mod.

whenever an echo increases max karma it desyncs the karma levels

Recently playing with the Spearmaster with a friend, after interacting with an echo and ascending to level 7, gates of level 5 and below couldn't be interacted with, idk why it happens.

can the shared watcher charge thing be an option you can toggle off in the future
cause when i use the SplitScreen Co-op Mod with the dual display setting on it shows them on their respective monitors

Hi dude just wanted to let you know that if you play surv campaign on this mode you have a rot (Proto Brother Long Legs) in GW which only appears ion game when you select hunter campaign.
those kinda block the way throught garbage wastes for others slugs too :stimulation:

@moth_005 i would double check if you have ripple, that disabled gates for me until i got the mod thepanis69 suggested lol. somehow, the mod gives you ripple

Apparently having this mod on causes the gate from Pebbles to The Wall to not work no matter what karma you have? I disabled this mod and the gate worked again
Not sure if this is caused due to mod incompatibility, but it did work when I disabled this one

There is a mod called "ripple doesn't disable karma gates" that should help you with that.
