Miaoying Reinforcement

Each time the Great Bastion Threat is reduced to 0, the Dragon Emperor will dispatch a contingent of the Imperial Guard to aid Miao Ying's faction. Players can choose one of four reinforcement types to add to their recruitment pool. These elite units can then be recruited from the Elector Count-style recruitment panel (similar to the Hunter and the Beast expedition mechanic) with no recruitment cost.

Each Imperial Guard unit is stronger than its standard counterpart, featuring:

Melee Infantry: Higher attack, defense, and armor

Ranged Infantry: More ammunition and passive abilities

Cavalry: Glory Charge, improved armor, and combat stats

Monstrous Units: Unique abilities, Higher attack, defense, and armor

Additional Mechanic:

Defeating a Kurgan Warband now increases Great Bastion Threat by 10 (instead of reducing it by 20).

Each upgrade to Nan-Gau’s Ninth Wall enhances the strength of future reinforcements. There are three tiers of reinforcement quality.

When the Compass aligns with the Great Bastion:

A weaker reinforcement is immediately dispatched (scaling with current reinforcement tier).

Great Bastion Threat increases by +5 per turn while the Compass remains aligned.
