It's not really that hard, just follow the format in the human6.txt. Any sequential names have to defined in the localization .yml file. All files must be encoded UTF8 - BOM.

Is making namelist mods hard from a technical standpoint? If not, I could make a compatch between this mod and NSC3 (if you allow me to, of course).

I was thinking of adding carrier names to battleships since that's what they are in the base game. I don't have any gameplay mods, so I don't know how the names in those mods are set up.

Enterprise is in the corvette list and Kaga is in the battleships.

Awesome, any chance of adding carrier names for NSC3? UNS Enterprise and UNS Kaga would go so hard.

I do have some planet names taken from SF colonies and alien worlds. I'm planning to add more people names. Non-English names are pretty sparse.

Good idea. How about planet or people names? Are they using them from core Stellaris or are they empty while using your ship names?
BTW, would be cool to add planet and other names too...

Cool. Thanks.
