The M15A1 Heavy Duty Halftrack entered service in 1940 as a logistics platform for the American military. Designed to carry large trailers, generators, and base infrastructure components, its massive 12-cylinder diesel engine made it capable of hauling exceptional loads across long distances. On specially designed tank carrier trailers, the M15A1 could even transport a fully loaded Sherman tank—though never intended for frontline recovery work, it was pressed into that role with mixed results anyways.
Unlike lighter utility halftracks, the base M15A1 came equipped with rows of bench seating and was optimized for troop transport, meaning it required trailers to carry cargo. It being an open top vehicle and rather large in size made it an easy target for airstrikes, and the vehicle proved vulnerable during early campaigns. Later models were retrofitted with pintle-mounted machine guns for basic defence against aircraft and light ground threats.
Due to its modular chassis and towing strength, the M15A1 became the foundation for dozens of mission-specific variants, including fuel tankers, workshop trucks, generator carriers, and mobile crane platforms. It was the most widely produced halftrack of the early 1940s and formed the backbone of American heavy logistics throughout the war.

1. Start Ignition
   
2. Pull Out Choke for around 3 seconds
   
3. Disable and then reenable Ignition
   
4. Press Starter until engine runs

- Front suspension is a bit wobbly sometimes, be careful when going off road
- it has Mouse aim steering
- the Choke enables a fuel pump, if you stall, or you notice the engine is about to stall you can press it to semi turbocharge the engine and help it. But only for a short time
