Description
The Task and purpose is a Core7 Hybrid Tasking/Attack ship. This is the latest iteration of a much beloved line of 'Get ♥♥♥♥ done', forward-cockpit harrier attack ships. Featuring nearly 40 Fully retractable turret positions, weapon mounts for small, medium, or large weapons, 8x 3x3x6 Component bays, Spacious Hangar, and un-fettered top and bottom space for mounting both standard and artillery turrets, this is a ship that does it all.

The Task and Purpose comes standard w/ a Healthy recharge 60,000 Hitpoint shield, 16 Manual Plasma cannons, 6 Laser Turrets, Plus Advanced Warp, Advanced Radar, and Tool Turret! The ship is a dynamo of self-sufficiency and all-role productivity, it is ready to both mine for its own ammo, carry smaller utility vehicles, process ore and parts from its 3 constructors, as well as kill, salvage, and deconstruct its foes.

The ship requires no complex parts, and NO XENO, it requires just 30-odd Plasma converters and a single advanced kit, all of which can be cheaply bought at any Polaris Trade station, for about 150k credits. The ship comes out of the box ready to take downn an Imerat and massively upgrade itself to a Core9 Dynamo.

It is Fast, Maneuverable, Spacious, with massive upgradeability built in. It's also hard as rocks, having a composite Combat steel and Hardened steel shell, fully encompassing all of your vital parts, with built in explosion barriers to prevent chain reactions.

THis is a ship that will kill Infectors and Dreadnoughts alike as it is upgraded, it provides ease-of-use and quick movement through the ship to maximize your play-time and make your sessions as productive as possible.

The ship also features space for Turbines, both small, medium, and large, for Zero-Fuel operations. Upgrade suggestions are inncluded w/ the ship ( LCDs ), and your retractable positions are all texture-marked. This ship also makes an excellent Rare-ore miner, having more than sufficient space for both Mining and Fighting turrets, of all sizes and varieties. Enjoy!

This page has a video demonstration of this ship killing both an Imerat and an Infector as a Core7, to show you how it's done, once you're a core9, those fights are trivial, and this ship will easily kill a Tovera Dreadnought as a Core9.

@jackoneil Ideally in a compartment with no targetable devices. The room they start in by default in the blueprint is a good choice, you only need that space for a generator if you are doing dual-advanced generators and youve filled all of your shield slots, but if youve filled all of your shield slots, you should be running a small fusion core, so that space would not be occupied by a generator. The component bays are variable, the markings are meant to be helpful, but generally you can simply put things where they fit and that's good enough.

Great ship, question, where do you put cpu extenders? The room with the cpu and extenders in it looks like it is for a generator. The other rooms look like they are for shield extenders. Thanks!
