Description
The Neon Pocket Miner is an ultra-compact, small-grid, vanilla mining ship with hydrogen thrusters that doesn't use mods, rotors, hinges, or pistons, making it a perfect survival-ready solution for early game mining projects on moons, on planets (with limited capacity), or in space. All components can be built using a basic assembler with ore refined in a basic refinery.

Designed as a medium-capacity compact miner, the Neon Pocket Miner extracts ores quickly and effortlessly with its 2 optimally-spaced drills, automatically ejecting waste stone, and transports ore in 1 large and 1 medium cargo container, a connector, the cockpit, and 2 drills. Power is supplied by 8 small batteries; the batteries provide plenty of power for multiple mining trips, but recharging regularly is recommended. A total of 30 small hydrogen thrusters supplied by 14 small hydrogen tanks and 2 O2/H2 generators provide excellent acceleration and handling capability, even when fully loaded. Twin gatling guns are included for defense. These features make the Neon Pocket Miner a perfect solution for the player who needs to get to an ore deposit, quickly extract a large quantity of ore, and get back home again in a challenging environment.

Note that the Neon Pocket Miner will operate on all planets, but with a somewhat reduced ore capacity and significantly reduced operational time before the hydrogen tanks are depleted. A better choice for planets would be the Peon Pocket Miner: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3489979815

NOTES FOR BUILDING WITH A PROJECTOR IN SURVIVAL
(See the last two pictures for the projector's configuration.)
1. Build a rotor frame on a powered grid; remove the large-grid rotor head and replace with a small-grid rotor head and lock rotation.
2. Place 2 armor blocks, minimum, vertically atop the small-grid rotor head to provide sufficient clearance for building the miner.
3. Build a small-grid projector on top of the uppermost armor block; for consistency, rename the projector to be "NPM - Projector".
4. Load the blueprint into the projector; click on the setting to retain the blueprint after construction is complete.
5. Build the blueprint.
6. When completed, grind away the armor blocks, small-grid rotor head, and rotor frame, leaving the projector in place for future repairs.
