Description
Warning!! Threat Level: Very High. Unless you're well prepared & expert at dealing boomers, avoid this boomer!!


This "Shadow Boomer" has his first debut when helping "Supreme Witch Queen" repel survivors as her "fat assassin" (fat what...?? :D). He's considered as a mini boss, with health twice as much as charger & his high damage resist on shotguns. Seeing him on the battlefield means that he's about to bring someone reckless to death.


List of features available on "boomer army - shadow boomer.txt" cfg file:
  1. Shadow Boomer Chance: The spawn chance of this "Shadow Boomer".

  2. Suicide On Normal Attack: The chance of "Shadow Boomer" activating "Auto Suicide" on normal attack (to bring a survivor with him to the afterlife).


Mechanisms of "Shadow Boomer":
  • "Shadow Boomer" will spawn based on the chnce on "Shadow Boomer Chance".

  • This boomer has totally black skin (like a shadow) & 1300 health.

  • This boomer has 75% damage resist against shotguns. It means that shotguns only deal 25% damage on him.

  • This boomer always does instant kill on vomit & explosion upon death when survivor is biled.

  • The "Shadow Boomer" bot will taunt survivors when he instantly kills a survivor.

  • This boomer's normal attack causes "Black & White" debuff, & has 50% chance to cause "Coma State" that reduces survivor's health to only 1.

  • When "Suicide on Normal Attack" is set above 0, this boomer has certain chance to go suicide after landing a normal attack blow on a survivor. It means that he'll bring the survivor he hits to the afterlife with him.

  • This boomer can die instantly with melee. That's if you're ready to sacrifice yourself for the team, as it means instant death to you too once you're exposed by the explosion :D .

  • Tips: As this boomer has 1300 health, try to keep some distance away from his explosion radius when shooting. On Expert difficulty, the moment you meet him close enough, it's already late to escape because boomer on expert can vomit instantly without delay.


& another mini boss officially shows himself on "Boomer Army Invasion". Now survivors won't look down on boomers anymore, at least when they see a pitch black boomer :D .

@M̶a̶d̷ ̷A̵n̴d̸r̵o̴i̸d , this boomer always gives "Black & White" debuff, & at the same time has 50% chance to cause coma state (1 health, 0 health buffer) on his normal attack. So even if the "Auto Suicide" is turned off, you still get 50% chance to get coma state straight to death.
The idea about the boomer throwing tantrum is actually a good one. I think I'll need to prepare some funny tantrum reactions first :steamhappy:

For some reason this boomer's normal attack instakills me instead of giving me the black & White debuff/come state.

Also would be funny if it would bark salty tantrum comments if we kill him, since he taunts us when he kill us. So how about a little payback, lol
