The Royal Castellan - Legendary Hero for Bretonnia

Description
General

- Adds 1 legendary hero with unique items and abilities
- The Royal Castellan spawns on turn 1 next to Louen
- The mod is save-game compatible, so he'll join later after 1 turn, when loading a campaign
- He features custom animations and VFX
- This mod is a standalone. He's part of my main mod Bretonnian Royal Lake Guard
- Either use this mod OR the main mod





Personal Note

This mod is a standalone release, created by request. Initially, I had no plans to release it separately, but I’ve changed my mind.

Technically, the character is complete as he is, though I may add a few more skills in the future.
Please note that my main focus remains on my main mod, so updates for this standalone may take a bit longer if needed.

I spent a lot of time creating him, and I hope you enjoy using him in your playthroughs.

FAQ

- Is the Royal Castellan available for other factions?
→ No, he's only available when playing as Couronne.


- How do I recruit/get The Royal Castellan?
→ The Royal Castellan spawns on turn 1 next to Louen or after 1 turn when adding the mod into an ongoing campaign.


- What are the units in the background of the screenshots?
→ The units are part of my main mod Bretonnian Royal Lake Guard


- Can you create a submod for mod XYZ?
→ I will not create any submods for this standalone. You're welcome to create a submod for anything you like, as long as you give credit.

@Kingpsycho All you can see on that character is made from vanilla game assets. You can become really creative with it. I've also edited a lot of textures of course.

This model is sick. But i wanted to ask how you came about the models? Like do you make that helmet? or did you edit another characters helmet, then change the colors with gimp?

I personally want to know, because i wanna make a similar mod sometime in the future.

So badass! I wish he could be a Lord instead... Replacing Alberic? or any minor Bretonnia faction lord, like Adalard or Cassyon etc...
If anyone know how I could do that it would be so perfect.
I want to play coop and my friend only wants to play that character lol

This is by far my favorite mod collection to date... curious and this is a stretch. What's the possibility of you making these armors and effects for Baldur's Gate 3? I know completely different company's etc. but dang could you imagine going through that with the whole team in variation's of this?

I know have Louen mod replacer but would it be possible to make another using this model instead with Louen usual sword and shield?

If possible to add a hero or a legendary lord "like Pelinal from Elder Scrolls lore" the character would fit perfectly to Bretonnia.I know we cant name them the same or so by the TW laws,but a inspired character as a Elf Hater would be a perfection for those seeking crusades and genocidal fights,check the lore my friend ,hope you like it !

@hamletsdead Yes, he will spawn for the AI but I can't tell if he's available for the other mod though. I do not use that mod, so I can't tell for sure. Keep in mind that he's a LH and I think that recruiting mod os for LLs.

Looks uber cool, thanks. Does he show up as an IA Hero if you aren't playing Couronne? Wondering if I can recruit him via the mod that lets you recruit defeated enenies.
