The Old World: Freddy's Greenskin Mobs!

Description
After months of work, I've finally finished this. This collection includes all of the models needed to play as the Greenies in the Old World, with the models and animations from the Total war game we all know and love.

All the models come with a static variant (except for the Goblin Bosses on Spiders for now), while all Characters and some choice units (Monsters and Chariots notably) come with an animated version which (for the most part) react upon being picked up, and also contains other triggers you can activate.

They also come with their stats and listed equipment and special rules in their descriptions, but you'll have to still look up the specific rules.

The only future plans I have with this mod is to make a static version of the Goblin Boss on Spider, and maybe bring in an Idol of Gork (or Mork) with old rules, or with a appropriate base to use as a proxy.

Either way, I hope you'll have fun with these models!

Update (02/06/2025): I've begun adding some quality of life scripts to the models which includes those from other mods (namely an HP bar and forward/backwards view arcs), but instead of waiting until I've done them all, I'll be updating the mod here as I go. EDIT (06/06/2025): All models are done!

Update (04/06/2025): Seeing as some people would want to have the option of having actual bases on the models, I've included some separate bases made specifically for these models, which also hides the white transparent bases currently on them. In addition, the models themselves have been put into bags to severely reduce the load time.

Update (09/06/2025): Updated the mod with a new basing tool, making it even easier to add the right bases to the models!

@Freddie Gibbs Thanks for the reply, and eager to see what you do, even if you don't make an entire army for Chaos, just having the custom character designer thing for Chaos Warrior Characters works just as well since then we can literally make individual warriors how we wanna have them, so, I'm in full support regardless what you think is necessary, and eager to see your future efforts in transporting everything you can into TTS. Your work has been awesome!

chaos warriors would be amazing. I've been waiting for so long

I was actually considering doing the Warboss idea with Chaos characters, and I might do that in the future with both Chaos and Orcs.

As for an entire Chaos army? Considering that this took me forever to do, and the fact that I don't play Chaos that much... maybe. We'll see, it'd be a tossup between doing them or the stunties (Dwarves).

Hey, love these models greatly. While I am also a bit questionable in view on the bases, I don't mind it. (Sides It ain't like I can't just slap them onto said bases and then use them that way.) But I am curious, do you intend to do this with every other Warhammer Fantasy Models set up, like Warriors of Chaos? Or only plan to do it for only Orcs and Goblins? I am curious because I'd love to have you make the Warriors of Chaos in particular personally, as your work is greatly awesome. Also, curious to know if you ever plan on doing something like the 40K Ork Warboss custom kit thing you got for these guys potentially. I am interested in it because I'd love to be able to build my own Warboss out of the armor bits you got here. XD

Exactly the reason, ye. And thanks!

I recognized the circle bases from the other mod. Curious why you prefer them; is it so they look like they are standing on the terain? Nice work BTW!

If you these models to only be useable within the "ecosystem" you're creating than that's you're prerogative. But as long as these models break without your scripts (the sightlines become stuck to active), they're just unusable for a lot of people.
And there is the risk that if you ever abandon the project (it happens), then it'll be hard for someone else to keep it going.
But again, it's obviously your call.

The idea about the bag's great, and I'll be sure to implement it in the next update (since it really is an issue with all of those models loading in).

As for the rebasing... sadly, I'm rather adamant about keeping them as is, since they do work for what they're intended to, as models to use in TOW or in older WHF games. However, I will be trying some things out, and if they turn out to work, I'll provide full bases to attach to the models that will hide the white borders (and maybe also bases that people can add top texture to and tint, we'll see.)

This is really cool and I appreciate how much effort went it into this!
but...
I do have to agree with Siegfried that the bases are a real downer. There's a lot of games people might want to play with this and more TOW focused scripts won't help with that. A lot of people also have aesthetic preferences for how they want their bases to look. If your opponents have a armies that use normal bases these are going to look off.

I also have an easier to implement suggestion: putting the minis in bags or the type of tiles used by ForceOrg and Ulthuan. That way users don't have to load everything all at once when they open the table.

@Witch Hunter Siegfried Sadly, it would be a bit much of a hassle to make versions without the bases. However, I will be adding those same script functions to the relevant models instead, so people won't have to stick them on said scripted bases to begin with.

Also, if they'd be used in older versions of the game, they can simply be scaled down in size in-game, so it won't really be necessary for me to do it :v
