With the ESDF high command and material administration wishing to standardise and reduce the amount of armaments available to the ESDF strike fighters, this task was given to the ESDF engineers to accomplish who decided to create a new type of missile that function as both anti-ship, anti-fighter and air to ground missile capable of being launched from the current an future ESDF strike craft.
GBU-100 Reaper multi-use missile is capable of being launched even while performing high G manoeuvres due to its simple yet relatively advanced launch system where the missile first propel itself forward before guiding itself towards its intended target.
