Description
During their walk on the broken bridge of "Cold Stream", somehow Ellis seemed to miss Superman.
Ellis: "I wonder how he's doing now? Did he shoot all zombies on the ground with laser eyes while flying & saving people out there?"
Nick: "What? You still wish him to teach you how to fly?"
Ellis: "You know, it would be cool if we could fly from this bridge."
Nick: "& tank will gladly throw some rocks at you. Just be lucky that there's no zombie shooting laser from their eyes..."
Coach: "Oh hell no, Nick... You start it again..."
Nick: "What...? You don't think that I spell some kinds of magic words, do you?"
Ellis: "That because you usually say something like, 'Hear my prediction...?', & then something happens..."
Nick: "Good. Now do you really want to hear it?"
Ellis, Coach, Rochelle: "NO...!!"
Nick: "Not exactly a prediction though. But look up there at the floating blue balloon." *pointed somewhere at the sky* . "I have a bad feeling about that balloon."
Ellis, Coach, & Rochelle: *looked at the sky & then got panicked* "Oh sh*t...!!"

The floating balloon coming closer turned out to be a boomer. His eyes started to shine & purple laser was shot to where they're standing.

Nick: "Oh cr*p. Has Superman got infected too in the end?!"
Ellis: "Have I ever told you about a Superman movie where he had no choice but to fight his own people for the sake of the earth...?"
Rochelle: "Ellis, we don't have time for this now...!"
Ellis: "Okay... Maybe later... I was just going to tell that probably he's a Kryptonian person, but he got infected by virus."
Nick: "So there are some fat guys too on Superman's planet, huh..."


That's for the background story for fun :D . This one is another MINI BOSS for boomer, an infected fat Kryptonian :D . This mini boss has 3 main superpowers: Laser Eyes, 95% damage resist (almost invincible), & Super Normal Punch (like a tank). But, he's a Kryptonian :D . I'll explain further on the mechanisms.


List of features available on "boomer army - fat man of steel.txt" cfg file:
  1. Fat Man Of Steel Chance: The spawn chance for "Fat Man of Steel".


Mechanisms of "Fat Man of Steel":
  • "Fat Man of Steel" will spawn based on the chance on "Fat Man Of Steel Chance".

  • This boomer has blue skin (like Superman's blue costume).

  • This boomer has different health on different difficulty level (Easy/ Normal= 1000, Advanced= 1500, Expert= 2000).

  • As a Kriptonian, this boomer has 95% damage resist. It means that you only deal damage as much as 5% of normal damage. Even melee won't one-hit-kill him. Example: If your attack is 80, you only deal 4 damage on him.

  • As Superman even has a weakness, this boomer also has weakness. "Kryptonite Effect" will be triggered when a survivor shoves him with healing items, like medkit, defib, pills & adrenaline. When shoved with healing items, this boomer will get biled, & at the same time the survivor shoving him also gets biled.

  • "Kryptonite Effect" will temporarily disable "95% Damage Resist" when this boomer is still under biled effect.

  • Once this boomer is no longer biled, "95% Damage Resist" will be active again.

  • List of superpowers:
    SUPERPOWER
    EFFECTS
    Laser Eyes
    - Shoot laser from eyes when he's looking at a survivor
    - 6 damage per laser tick
    Super Normal Punch
    - Throws a survivor away with a punch, like a tank
    - Still normal punch damage
    Flight
    - Boomer player can fly (not noclip, but fly)
    - Boomer bot has very low gravity when jumping
    (bot will be bugged when flying, so that's why)

  • This mini boss is probably weaker than "Shadow Boomer" when a bot takes control as boomer bot usually prefers running instead of keeping looking at a survivor. But if a boomer player takes control, this mini boss can be one of the most annoying ones, as exclusively for player, this boomer can fly.

  • Tips: To kill this in easy way, one survivor must shove this boomer with healing item & then switch to melee to instantly kill him. That's only for boomer bot though. Boomer players may choose to fly & shoot laser from afar, as it's fun that way :D .


So this "Fat Man of Steel" also joins "Boomer Army Invasion".

NOTES:
  • A known bug: Sometimes the laser stays when boomer is killed during using Laser Eyes, but this laser will be removed automatically in 13 seconds after shot.

@Cheetos , the boomer bot can't fly, but he can only float/ have low gravity when jumping, so he will land again after jumping. & as boomer usually prefers running away, you can keep shooting from afar until he runs away. Just like the tips I mentioned above, the easy way to kill is by shoving him with healing items to trigger kryptonite effect & then switching to melee to instantly kill him (you're already biled the moment you shove him with healing items, so it's better to use melee to kill in close range).

I like this, but the kryptonite effect is weird and not telegraphed. I say remove both it and the 95% damage reduction (or at least make a toggle!) because a flying enemy with ~2000 health is already enough.
