CORE - Logistics AI Faction

Description
Hello Starfarers, Captains and Architects.
CORE is a somewhat-side project I am working on, I don't really dedicate much time to it but I do want to expand this to be a faction that can at least meet on the scale of the vanilla factions.

This faction is designed around heavy logistics, including both specialized and multi-role ships to fulfill these purposes.
These ships range from regular cargo and mining ships to dedicated mobile stations and processing facilities.

This faction is planned to be carrier focused, with a mixture of all available technologies as well. This means that currently I can only build the more dedicated / auxiliary ships when it comes to combatants. There are also very specialized ships, one such example being the category of intel ships, of which are used exclusively as mobile radars, scouts, and as a network data system (even though that isn't simulated in-game).

Currently the faction has an issue with its Lore. It is very fragmented and I haven't yet decided what I should go with to explain this faction's existence, or what its motives would be. Even it's name, CORE, is a problem. It once stood for something but I've long since forgotten and I can't find any clue as to what it once was.

Currently its just a ship set but when its to a state that I like, and the full campaign is added, I could see if I can get someone to turn it into a faction mod.
