Description
During the economic boom within the Everdawn system, the Leviathan carrier was favored by civilian factions getting into hauling, mining, salvaging, and was chosen by military alliances as regional flagships.

The Flight 2 was developed to curb issues within the system and to serve as a far superior platform for the duties requested of it. Featuring slightly upgraded firepower, brand new engines, and a mk2 rotary Mass Accelerator Cannon in the nose. But above all else, it features the newest offensive package from the Regalis; a 4-tubed torpedo launcher. In addition to its supermobile torpedo, turret-busting torpedo, and space probe all launchable from each tube, it has a built-in "sentry mode" which automatically launches these missiles at incurring neutral and hostile forces that get too close, allowing your crew to rest easy during your night cycle or when running a skeleton crew.

These are not the only improvements; certain areas were slightly up-armored and had volatile sources removed to improve survivability and ease maintenance. After extensive field tests were concluded, a larger hangar bay dedicated to maintenance of fighters was also implemented with exterior welding nodes implanted above the hangar for the easier reloading of missiles during combat operations.

The first in this Flight 2 configuration was the Ouroboros, where the faction Triourocore of the Everdawn system contracted a standardization of their custom upgrades to streamline maintenance. Resulting from this was a far more sophisticated fleet command vessel, and one that would soon get its sister ship - the UEES Leviathan - upgraded as well.

You need a client-side plugin to project subgrids.

Lol sorry :p it really needed a retrofit, I made it too much like the Kraken originally and it detracted from its gameplay with an almost unusable internal hangar and very, very outdated engines - and very low firepower to boot.

I simply had to upgrade it to make it a proper "small capital ship"

<Sigh> I've spent the last two weeks retrofitting an original Leviathan for my own use and now that I've seen this upgrade, I think I may have to start over with this one for a basis.

Seriously, this looks great!

(Although I am serious about starting over with this one, I still hadn't figured out what to do about the 125 O2 generators on the original as they made up so much of the conveyor network and this appears to solve that issue.)
