Welcome to the Heavenly Archives mod!

Obviously if you've seen MHUU, you'd assume this will be deprecated, but that's not the case.

Heavenly Archives (or HA) takes ideas from the Archived DashNet Forums (more specifically, just prestige/heavenly upgrades), and gives them names, flavor texts, and icons (some/most of which are custom), whilst implementing them into Cookie Clicker.

So far, there's 153 Heavenly Upgrades (and counting) from this mod, all credited to their original creators from the forums, and while going with a 1:1 idea:actual-upgrade in an attempt to preserve the original ideas from the DashNet Forums might cause slight imbalance, some ideas are heavily rebalanced, and others are lightly adjusted where needed (although the grand majority are just 1:1, causing things to be unbalanced). The mod also adds an entirely new building and tier of upgrades, unlocked via one of the heavenly upgrades (Unbounded).

While the mod includes several dependencies meant to allow other modders to use more, it works with More Heavenly Upgrades Remastered, Even More Heavenly Upgrades, More Heavenly Upgrades (most likely although unsupported by Heavenly Redistricting (HR) (just for clarification, MHUR & EMHU are supported by HR)), and Upmost Transcendence.

The mod is out of Alpha, although there still may be bugs. I will keep fixing any bugs that appear due to my coding or due to modding incompatibilities.

Here's a short Q&A:

Q: Why does this mod exist?
A: To take the archived and forgotten upgrade ideas from the DashNet Forums (not the discord), and implement them to show that, even ideas from a decade ago (when prisms and antimatter condensers were the final buildings) can be rather unique! And also because when I was making MHUU I accidentally discovered these ideas, and decided "eh, I'll add them in", and that's how Heavenly Archives was made.

Q: What is CE (CCSE Extender)?
A: CE is effectively an extender to CCSE, unlike what the name suggests, CE is not "Crumbs Engine" (my bad on the naming), CE allows effectively everything that makes this mod.
It's described a bit more within the description of CE.

Q: What is HR (Heavenly Redistricting)?
A: Heavenly Redistricting, like its name suggests, it moves around upgrades in MHUR, EMHU, Upmost Transcendence, and the vanilla game, to try to give more space (I will update it if and when more space is needed, although the functionality for group moving upgrades is within CE). This doesn't break compatibility with them, as it is entirely visual.
HA requires HR to prevent upgrade overlap, which makes some upgrades unpurchasable and clutters the ascend tree.


In conclusion:
If you want more content, or to see what ideas people from 10 years ago (2014-2019 specifically) thought of whilst playing Cookie Clicker, then you'll probably enjoy this mod.

And yes, I'll continue to update this mod with fixes and maybe new content.

Shimmering Power overlaps with Divine savings, and with all the heavenly upgrade mods, i somehow have 2 divine savings upgrades ready to take

I can't get the Vocaloid upgrade to work. I did read the "read me" file and I added all the songs, but they won't play.

The new building is incredibly underpowered, it produces cookies less than any other building even with all upgrades on it. I feel like that's kind of underwhelming considering how expensive it is to unlock it...

Either the new building unlock upgrade or the extra worship slot upgrade causes the game to show a black screen and not progress if they are obtained. Could be a potential mod conflict or the game can currently only handle so much at once.

Great mod, although the upgrades are cramped together so much (combined with MHUR and EMHU) to the point where I can't find the last one and can't start another journey

Thank you very much for solving the achievements bug.

I have one more question. I think the prestige levels count is bugged. The first asce nsion I used this mod, I got an insane amount of levels that made the counter short the number length.

But in my second ascension with somo more Heavenly Upgrades, It looks like doesn't give more levels unless I click the cookie or kill the wrinklers. The timer doesn't refresh in real time.

What can be wrong?

when i click the reincarnate button it gets stuck on the legacy screen with no upgrades visible, i only have the 3 mods needed for ha and ha

This mod is lots of fun, but as a suggestion, I think it would be awsome if there could be a balanced mode or something that causes the heavenly upgrades to simply be less strong. As While some people love super overpowered game aspects, many would prefer a more "vanilla" experience, with the joys of the additions this mod adds on top, without skipping many hours of gameplay from the op heavenly upgrades this mod entails.

Nevermind, the issue was that HR was a priority below HA, moving HR above HA in the priority list let me enable the mod.
