Welcome to MK Manager, my very first mod – and a wild ride through the world of Mario Kart, brought into Golden Lap!

This mod tries to bring all the chaos of the Mario Kart universe into your Golden Lap career.

Please note: English is not my first language! A big thanks to openAI it made a lot of things to help me while creating the mod

If this mod inspires more experienced modders, I’ll take it as a huge win!

Features:

Drivers:
All replaced by iconic Mario Kart characters with some that might surprise some of you I hope !

Engineers:
Each one based on a kart or bike from Mario Kart Wii – with stats and traits to match!

Crew Chiefs:
Inspired by classic Mario Kart items – from shells to lightning!

Sponsors & Teams:
Transformed into Mario-themed brands and ads.

Point System:
Adjusted to match Mario Kart Wii’s race point structure.

Balanced Chaos:
• I aimed to make things more chaotic, just like in Mario Kart.
• The economy is more balanced – so don't be surprised if you see more DNFs and tighter battles. Every team starts with less money and will not be able to buy the best people in the first season (Golden lap is still Golden lap… So, with time, some teams will still dominate more than others and AI will make some dumb decision)
• Top Drivers/Engineers/Crewchiefs have more negative traits
• All crew chiefs include the "Party Animal" trait
• I haven’t tested past Season 4, so… who knows what might happen?

Creating this mod gave me a deep respect for all modders out there – the time, effort, and love you pour into your creations is incredible. Hats off to you all!
