Description
Actually I wanted to make a "Cena Jockey", but as there's already an invisible jockey like "Howler" mod, let's just make a "Cena Charger" instead.


B: "When will you continue the Boomer Army?"
A: "After this one, I think..."


& here's the background story for fun:


After the emergence of the invisible hunter, "Cena Hunter", followed with the horror of the invisible witch, "Cena Witch" in an abandoned plantation house, the fear of some horror movies about ghosts started to grow. Survivors began to be overly cautious & anxious of their surroundings, even on slightest sounds when they arrive at woods of "Dark Tower" campaign at night.
Coach: "See, Nick...! This is why you need to say positive things instead of bad ones...!"
Nick: "You meant like that positive guy we met when driving Jimmy Gibs' car...? Or should I keep eating cheese burgers like what you're doing right now...?"
Ellis: "That's actually a good idea, Nick. Imagine you talking about anything positive, even on some predictions..."
Nick: "Like what? Like, we're going to be safe & get through all of this without anyone missing, huh...?"
Ellis: "Yeah, but not the last part. Oh sh*t...!! He said it...!!"
Rochelle: "Hey, Coach is missing, this time...!!"
Nick: "What is it, this time...?!"
Rochelle: "Stop...!! Don't say it...!"
Ellis: "Stop it, Nick...! Focus on finding Coach...!!"

They searched while moving close to each other to anticipate other invisible zombies. Then, they started to hear some slamming sounds along with Coach's screams for help.
Coach: "Charger, shoot...!! Right here...!! Above the ground...!!"
Ellis: "Ah sh*t...! Now, it's invisible charger...?!"
Nick: "I can't see how he's charged this time... Maybe this charger was once a burger seller & still remembers Coach's 'dine & dash' in the past..."
Rochelle: "Omg Nick. Do you still have time for that...?!"
Nick: "Alright, fine. Let's shoot this poor burger seller..."


So, this time, it's for the invisible charger. As this uses "Cena Hunter" as the template, most of features & mechanisms are similar to "Cena Hunter", with some slight differences.


List of features available on "cena family - cena charger.txt" cfg file:
  1. Cena Charger Chance: The spawn chance of "Cena Charger".


Mechanisms of "Cena Charger":
  • "Cena Charger" will spawn based on the chance set on "Cena Charger Chance".

  • This charger is totally invisible.

  • This charger has normal health like the default charger. However, he has 50% damage resist to any damage except from melee. This damage resist doesn't affect normal charger.

  • When successfully charging a survivor, the charged survivor will be invisible too. However, his items are still visible somehow (like medkits or anything carried on the back).

  • Any victims getting hit by the charge dash except the carried victim will be biled.

  • This charger\s normal attack can bile a survivor. Damage caused by the charge impact on the wall may count as normal attack damage.

  • This charger is only visible when killed or covered in fire. He also leaves some visible traces when charging (see the animated preview).

  • Bots can still see this charger, with their cheating eyes... :D .

  • Tips:
    - Shoot when you detect him from afar. Change to melee if he's into close combat with you to kill him faster.
    - When this charger is already holding a victim, shooting him is a waste of time as it takes time to kill him with bullets with his 50% damage resist on all damage except melee damage. So, survivors with melee should chase him & kill him with melee instead, to kill him & save the victim in much faster way.


So, are you ready for another horror theme of "Invisible Terror"? :D


NOTES:
  • As the glow still shows up when survivor is captured on normal modes (Coop, Singleplayer etc), any "Cena Family Series" mods are best played on modes that disable glow, like on Realism or some custom mutations, for the best horror experience where people go missing one by one :D .

What kind of weapons did you give those bots; did I just see that charger get annihilated with an M61 Vulcan cannon.
