Because of an update that automatically turns on the space googles when you open the simulation the bloom from the star doesn't look like what it should look like so if you want it to look like the thumbnail follow the steps below

1. Click the view button
2. Turn off space googles
3. Scroll down to bloom intensity and click on the name
4. Change the values to these percentages
Bloom Intensity - 25%
Bloom Threshold - 150%
Bloom Scatter - 90%

after you do all of that it should now look realistic
