If you're not familiar with creating new mods, you can check the CK3 wiki for an overview: https://ck3.paradoxwikis.com/Mod_structure#Creating_initial_files
Unfortunately due to how the coastal effect works, there is no actual water in the game anymore and any changes to the water texture will have no effect.
You can, however, remove the coastal effect instead by deleting the gfx/fx and map_data folders, which will return vanilla coasts and water.
One question though - How can I re-enable the animated water texture? I use the Darker Water mod and I think it'd go really well with the improved terrain textures and lighting of this mod. Thanks!
