[VScript] Challenging Co-op/Singleplayer Versus

WARNING: THIS ADDON IS MEANT TO BE USED ALONGSIDE MODS THAT ENABLE YOU TO PLAY VERSUS IN SINGLEPLAYER!

This rather simple script makes it so that you're much more likely to lose a match of versus against bots.

HOW IT WORKS

If there is atleast 1 human player in the survivor team, the game will automatically switch to a custom difficulty that's very similar to expert. If there are only bots in the survivor team, the game plays in normal difficulty with a few changes in favor of the survivor bots.

The most notable changes are when you play as the infected. The Tank has 4000 health now like in campaign mode, and you respawn at a similar time as if you were in a full team of human players. You will have to make each life count if you want to crush those Zoey apologists.

I highly recommend getting bot improvement addons for the survivors if the regular bots aren't cutting it for you.

This script should be compatible with most mutations, unless they change some settings that this mod changes.

An actual skill issue here but could you also make an easier version as a sort of transition between regular and challenging (ex. play advanced as survivors, and instead of being nerfed into the ground as infected, give the bots a bigger edge [ex. get tier 2's/start with 200 hp])

Sorry but this mod just doesn't work, even after making a new collection and unsubscribing from everything.

The mod is constantly changing the convar, so whatever you're using is constantly overriding the cvar in game, or the mod might not even be loading in the first place.

If you had to take a guess on what type of mod is conflicting with "z_ghost_delay_minspawn", what would it be? I like the idea of playing offline versus time to time. I can disable some bot/infected mods if need be otherwise I can turn off some mutations to weed out the problem. I'm suspecting some MANACAT "Advanced" mods or my version of the Rayman custom mutation list :melon:

idk why its not working for me, rayman custom versus and console hosted versus. It's not using the 16 sec timer

It's a very stupid meme that the user and a few others decided to make on the forums that basically is all about apologetically insulting anyone that enjoys Zoey as a character because having opinions that don't line up with theirs is completely and utterly alien to their echo chamber.

im not a fan of Zoey either, but what exactly are Zoey fans apologizing for? never heard the term "Zoey apologist" before
