Ever felt like characters are just too balanced?

The fact they carefully adjust numbers to ensure a character functions in an expected way just not your thing?

Ever wonder what it'd be like if all of that was thrown out the window?

Welcome to the Stat Randomizer buddy! When equipped during a match, it'll randomize (almost) every stat on the character's base movement kit. While this doesn't alter the programming of moves, just about everything else stat wise in a base kit from speed, to friction, to jump height, to outline color, to animation speed are all randomized. (Essentially almost every stat in init.gml if you're familiar with modding characters).

This will only affect the character who equips it, and each time you die and respawn everything gets re-randomized to enhance the chaos. That, and so if you get a really really bad selection of stats that you can cycle it to try to roll for something better.
