Description
This mod is a toolkit for mod developers to adapt existing weapons to the ModularWeapons2 system.
It is not used for normal gameplay at all.

Instructions
  1. Install this mod.
  2. Enable developer mode.
  3. Start the game with "Dev Quick Start" etc.
  4. Spawn the weapon you want to modularize and place it on the ground.
  5. Select "T: Modularize Toolkit Window" from the debug action menu and click on the weapon you created.
  6. Edit the weapon from the UI.
  7. When you're done editing, press "Export to XML".
  8. A folder containing that XML will opened automatically. You can use that XML in your mod.
The output XML can be used freely without special permission.

could this be used on bows to give them custom arrow types? like fire, poison, explosive, etc?

hey, can you maybe add a rotating function for textures? because some gun textures are diagonal. also, bug: but whatever texture i choose for an upgrade it´ll start with a long scope and change every second, theres also an error about random elements, gui and camera

This mod can apply almost any ranged weapon that doesn't have special features, as far as I know.

Would love to see which mods can use Modularize Toolkit. It LOOKS like it’d be really awesome to have modular modded weapons. Unfortunately, I can’t test this because my mod megapack has some mods updated to 1.6 and some updated to 1.5, making it basically unplayable for the time being.

would be cool if we could use this mid gameplay to manually place specific attachments over the graphics of pre-existing weapons in the gunsmith screen, so that we could maybe add attachments to ANY weapon from any mod
