- Burton C. Bell ( Fear Factory’s Vocalist ) despite being credited for doing clean singing and growling vocals. Burton C. Bell’s vocal inspirations were Jaz Coleman ( Killing Joke ), Max Cavalera ( Sepultura ), and Michael Gira ( Swans ).

- Fear Factory’s Demo “Concrete” was rejected by Major Metal Record Labels such as
Earache Records, Metal Blade Records, and Peaceville Records. Fear Factory members presented the Demo to Max Cavalera. ( Vocalist of Sepultura ) Max was definitely amazed and recommended them to The All Blacks ( Roadrunner Records ) to produce Soul of A New Machine.

- Ross Robinson first produced the demos of Fear Factory. Then went on producing well known records such as: Korn’s Self Titled , Sepultura’s Roots, and Slipknot’s Self Titled.
