Description
FireDuneDynamics is proud to present the Pegasus, as fast-moving, heavily armed hydrofoil gunship with good shielding, self-repair, and range. Four(4) hardpoints (2F/2R)

The pegasus features two different modes of operation; Transport Mode and Combat Mode.
The two modes differ in that transport mode offers speeds much higher than that of a typical ship at the expense of proper defensive postioning and deployment while combat mode offers much better defensive options.

Combat mode is typical naval operations where propellers drive the vessel and al available power is diverted to the four shields which, while it covers the majority of the ship, ot does not cover all. The vessel also sits much lower in the water offering a smaller target as well as a stalble platform from which to shoot. The Pegasus will automatically attempt to enter combat mode and retract the hydrofoils upon coming under fire. Downsides include the loss of much of the vessels speed and manuveraility but will still attempt to manuver itself into a broadside position.

Transport Mode is the fastest of the two modes and is designed to get the vessel where it is headed as fast as possible. Typical speed is clocked in at less than 20m/s: almost double that of typical fast-moving ships. The vesseil is most vulnerable in this mode as shields are unreliable at best and presents a much larger target than otherwise.

In order to properly switch from combat to transport mode and vice versa, you must throttle up in Sea Mode and bring the hydrofoils up to full. When all of the main engines are above water, switch to Air Mode and throttle up the engines. use the typical Y and I keys to steer the ship though be aware of the larger turning radius.

This "Stock" version does not come with any FireDuneDynamics proprietary autocannons or launchers though the vessel has room for four(4) of all but the largest cannons and launchers.

Indeed RichyN25 :-), I enjoy the challenge, especially since I have made ships and planes that Hansuki did but did them slightly better, especially in the aerial aspect!
