The Elira-class corvette is a compact, uncrewed escort and patrol vessel designed for cost-effective deployment across low-population systems and frontier zones. Armed with an assault cannon, a precision railgun, and basic point-defense systems, the Elira provides versatile firepower suited for anti-piracy operations and rapid response missions.

Built for simplicity and mass production, the Elira is widely used where budget constraints or crew scarcity limit the deployment of larger ships. Despite its modest size, the addition of a railgun enhances its ability to engage both small, fast targets and lightly armored threats effectively. It plays a crucial role in protecting convoys and augmenting fleet numbers during larger engagements.

Part of the same vessel family as the Perseus heavy frigate and Artemis light frigate, the Elira shares design philosophies centered on modularity, reliability, and operational efficiency.
