Step through the portal and awaken in the Multidimensional Maze of Madness

This map is a rage map. It will be nerve wrecking for some and please decide if you really want this challenge before you subscribe.



Map Contest
This is my entry map for the NoahJ456, Rage Map Mapping contest! THIS IS THE CONTEST VERSION OF THIS MAP.



An ever-shifting labyrinth whose gateways hurl you from feudal gardens and crumbling castles to collapsing suns and haunted bunkers. Fight the undead, gather relics of lost realms, and master each realm?s trial before the maze itself consumes reality.



Multidimensional Maze of Madness drops you into a large, hand-built labyrinth and gives you a map at spawn. Seven breach points, clearly marked portals around the perimeter, lead to self-contained challenge zones pulled from different places and eras.



Gameplay & Progression

Each area has a unique objective (defend, fetch, escort, puzzle, or boss). Mini-bosses and special enemies, robots, spiders, crawlers, manglers, appear in escalating waves. Standard perks, Pack-a-Punch and ammo wallbuys are scattered through the maze; additional perk machines sit inside several portals for mid-challenge resupply.



Difficulty
Difficulty leans high: boss arenas require movement and coordinated fire, while gather quests pressure you with timers or roaming elites. Complete all seven objectives to trigger the final escape sequence and clear the map.

Expect 45-60 minutes for a first clear with a team; solo is possible but punishing.



  • Seven challenge zones
    • Feudal Japanese garden
    • Dark-tower keep
    • Medieval battlefield
    • Collapsing-star reactor
    • Orbital outpost
    • WWII bunker
    • Cursed Egyptian dig site

  • Labyrinth hub: Spawn in the centre with a map. Perks, wallbuys and Pack-a-Punch platforms are hidden in the maze. Raised ?safe? pads let you regroup but ramp enemy strength if abused.

  • Mixed objectives: Each portal has one task (defend, fetch, escort, puzzle, or boss). Clear all seven to unlock the exit.

  • Solo-friendly failsafes: Most quests end on the first player death instead of wiping the entire match.

  • Day / Night rounds: Night adds flaming / electric variants and heavier spawns.

  • Weapon pool from every CoD era: Box and wall weapons span World at War ? MW III.

  • Wonder weapons: Ray Gun, Thundergun, Wave Gun, D.I.E. Machine, elemental Staffs, Apothicon Servant and more, all Pack-a-Punch ready.

  • AI variety & bosses: Regular zombies mix with manglers, spiders, crawlers, mech units and unique zone bosses, plus a final encounter after the seventh portal.

  • Estimated run time: First clear takes 60 to 90 minutes with a squad; solo is possible but punishing.




Difficulty
This labyrinth is designed to be challenging. Expect strong AI spawns, aggressive specials, and punishing boss arenas.

Quest Failsafes
Certain quests include a single-life failsafe: if anyone goes down, that quest ends immediately instead of wiping your entire run. Handy in solo, but a headache for careless co-op teams?communicate before you start.

Day / Night Cycle

Day: Standard zombie behaviour.

Night: More spawns, flaming/electric variants. Treat night rounds as mini-events.

Navigation
Pack-a-Punch, perk machines, and portal gates are deep in the maze. Screenshot the layout (link below) or keep the in-game map open. Learning quick routes is the difference between a clutch revive and a wipe.

Elevated Platforms
The lowered maze platforms provide a breather zombies funnel slowly and you can regroup. But kills up there scale difficulty: the longer you camp, the meaner the next ground wave will be. Use them sparingly, then drop back down.





Regarding the comments on this map remember that I wont tolerate any nasty comments which dont follow basic conversational rules. If you dont like this map I can understand but please voice it in a constructive manner.
