Controller Pause Freedom

Description
The goal of this mod is to allow a controller player to pause time and manipulate the UI with the same freedom that a mouse an keyboard player is afforded. Removes some restrictions on when a player can pause the game with a controller and allows you to navigate menus when paused.

Features:
* Allows player to pause time when a menu is open. Such as Invetory, Craft, Build, or Health menu.
* Allows player to pause time while moving a selection cursor. Such as when trying to pick up furniture.
* Allows player to open and close menus in the back button wheel while the game speed is paused.
* The pause button will still open the main menu when no menus are currently open.

Fixed the title screen bug. Controller buttons should work fine now.

You can try this workaround:

Don't enable the mod in the main screen.
Only enable the mod in the individual save file.
This way the mod can't effect the title menu.

BTW I found the issue, so I'll post again once I can fix it.

Yes it happen when I'm on main menu and I never get to loading my save because of the button didn't work and I force quit the game using SteamDeck exit menu.

Hope you'll get that fix and thanks for creating QOL mods for controller.

Hey thanks for the report. I verified that the issue only happens in the start screen of the game. Once you are playing the buttons work fine.

I must subconsciously load my game with the mouse every time so I never noticed.
I'll try and find a fix for this.

When I enable this mod, my face button (XYAB) didn't work. only the d-pad works. It could be incompatible with other mods. Haven't tried playing with this mod only. FYI I'm on SteamDeck.
