MESTA radar operation for dummies

Shifting modes:
There are two options for gear shifting, the classic "press arrow keys to shift", and clutch "clutch then change gear".
- By default uses the classic option, you can change by switching mode on the transmission microcontroller located behind the rear wheels, below the car.
- The other method requires holding space while changing gear.

Starting/stopping the engine:
- Turn on the engine with the "Ignition" switch
- Disable the handbrake with the button below
- Shift into gear using UP/DOWN arrows

Flashing light enabled using hotkey 3
Siren enabled using hokey 4

Using the MESTA 206
- Park wherever you want along a road or such
- In front of the car, use the arrow keys to adjust the MESTA's angle to face towards the road (as parallel as possible to it)
- Inside at the passenger side, enable the MESTA by flipping "Enable MESTA"
- You can cycle the max speed in the area using the "cycle top speed button", the set speed will briefly display on the "recorded speed dial", along with a blue indicator on the bar indicator above.
- Once a car is within range, it's speed will be recorded and displayed until a new reading takes place.
Should the speed exceed the speed limit by 4km/h, it will flag up an "INFRACTION" red indicator on the bar indicator above. Avoid overriding the last reading by disabling the MESTA.

Flipped on your side? Try opening both doors and pushing the car around. On your roof or can't unflip? Advisable to call Citroën Assistance!
