The origins of the Jiangnan-class aircraft carrier can be traced back to the pre-Collapse Project 233. Designed from the outset as a large fleet carrier emphasizing simplified construction processes and mass production, the Jiangnan-class's most significant features were its fully stealth-shaped profile and trimaran hull. This configuration provided enhanced battlefield survivability and higher speed.

The lead ship, *Jiangnan*, was launched from the Jiangnan Shipyard a decade after the Collapse, in 2100. It completed sea trials and entered service the following year, subsequently serving as the flagship of the Pan-Asian Coalition (PAC) Pacific Fleet until its decommissioning.

Due to the Jiangnan-class's design philosophy proving unexpectedly well-suited to the post-Collapse world order, it rapidly became the backbone of the Pan-Asian Coalition. The nearly 12 Jiangnan-class carriers constructed and launched during this period became not only instruments of PAC's global military deployment, but also potent symbols of Pan-Asian naval power during that era.

江南级航空母舰最早可以追溯至大崩溃前的233工程，在设计之初便是一型简化工艺，追求量产的大型舰队航母，除此之外，江南级的最大亮点便是其采用的完全隐身外形与三体构型，这赋予了较高的战场生存性与较快的航速。
江南级首舰江南号与大崩溃的十年后，即2100年于江南造船厂下水，次年完成海试交付入役，随后便担任泛亚联盟（PAC）太平洋舰队旗舰直至退役。
由于江南级的设计初衷意外的符合大崩溃后的世界格局，这使其很快便成为了泛亚联盟的中坚力量，前后建造下水的近12艘江南级航母，不仅成为了其全球布武的手段，同时也是那一时期泛亚海上军事实力的象征
